Great communication, shared sketches and made necessary changes as requested. Great ideas and very talented... Added some extra nuances such as buttons down the heel to match the back of my wedding dress. Quick shipment too. Stayed right on track with the timeframe of when the shoes would be painted and when they'd be shipped out. Thanks again!

They were beautiful and made my day complete simply by knowing how much my grandmother would have loved them! Miranda helped me bring my style to the shoes, yet keeping my grandparents very much apart of my special day through my shoes! She was a joy to work with and much more than a vendor, but a genuine person and friend. Much love and thanks to Miranda Marie!

Miranda is sweet, very thorough, and quick to respond. She makes every effort to capture your personality in her art. I can't wait to wear my shoes this weekend and will definitely recommend this shop to all of my bride to be friends:) She's the best!!!

All items are ready to ship to their new homes when you place your order, unless otherwise noted.
WHAT ARE ‘LOVE, MIRANDA MARIE’ SHOES?
Love, Miranda Marie is a privately-owned, fine art Etsy shoe store, focused on making creative fashion you’ll love! All of the shoes I work with are high-quality and gently used (unless otherwise noted in the case of, for example, brand new shoes). I bring old shoes to life by using Prismacolor markers, Fabric markers, and Sharpies for drawing my custom artwork on the shoes. I also love to use vintage buttons, rhinestones, and ribbons as accents. Each pair of shoes are sprayed with a clear sealant so that the design stays gorgeous and won't rub off. Happiness! However, please take care to protect your hand-drawn shoes from exposure to moisture. Even though I use permanent markers and sealant, the ink may run if it gets wet. I'm not saying it will, but just to be safe.
CUSTOM ORDERS
I gladly accept custom orders! I understand that I may not have shoes already made in your size and that is why custom orders are so handy. If you are interested in me customizing a pair of your shoes, please ask me! I will work personally with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. Payment is due when the piece is complete and listed in the shop. I ask that you give me at least 2 months from the time I receive your shoes, to be able to create a design specifically for you and paint them before sending them back to you. Since I work with Permanent markers and acrylic paint, the design is permanent, so I won't be able to do any edits for you once I’ve started drawing or painting. Keep in mind too, that they can not be returned, since the items were created specifically for you on your beloved shoes.

My apartment is smoke-free and pet-free. I do have a husband, but he doesn’t shed.

Shipping
Ready-made items or vintage clothes will be shipped within 3– 6 business days of payment. Estimated turnaround for made to order items will be listed in the description of the item. If there is a delay (due to Holidays or I’m busy with a stack of custom orders), I will contact you through a conversation or email. All Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail which provides a tracking number. Please do note that Insurance is not included. If you wish to add Insurance or purchase delivery confirmation, please let me know ahead of time and I can do this for an additional cost.
Responsibility for lost/stolen orders is with the buyer, so if you’re worried about the item getting messed up on its trip to you, please consider purchasing shipping insurance.

Please let me know before paying if I should ship it somewhere besides your PayPal address. ALL ORDERS ARE SENT TO YOUR PAYPAL ADDRESS.

I am happy to ship to anywhere in the whole wide world! If you are an International customer, please email or convo me about shipping rates or if you need me to edit a shipping price. Any fees, duties, and taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will not be responsible for paying this. Please learn about them and be prepared to pay if necessary. I will not lie on customs forms.
SHIPPING TIME TO INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS?
It could take up to 4 weeks for the package to ship internationally. Now, most likely it will get to your doorstep much sooner than that, but you just never know with these things.
Additional policies and FAQs
If cared for, Love Miranda Marie shoes will last for many years.
I use permanent markers on the shoes and then spray them with a sealant, but it is still possible for the shoes to smear if you expose them to moisture. DO NOT WASH! And no matter how tempting it is, do not splash in puddles or run in the rain with your Love Miranda Marie shoes on. I suppose I would also recommend not swimming with them on either. ;)
Each pair of Love Miranda Marie shoes is a work of art so treat them with care. Keep your special shoes apart from your other shoes, so that your hand-drawn shoes will not get scuff marks or colors on them from the others. Do not try to scrub scuff marks off the shoes! If you really MUST get a scuff mark off, take a Q-tip and a very little bit of alcohol to gently wipe it off, but keep in mind, you MUST NOT get the alcohol on the design because the alcohol will most likely take off the design, too! I really recommend you don’t even try it.
